The Orang Ulu Golf Classic & Cultural Night was held on 15th January, 2011 with shot gun tee off at 12.00noon at Kelab Golf Miri. Despite the very heavy downpour, the competition round finished at 6.00p.m and 7 players still managed to come back with their scores in red. 129 participants took part in the event and they were from Miri, Bintulu and Brunei. They had their Prize Presentation Ceremony cum Cultural Night at ParkCity Hotel, Miri at 6.30pm. The competition was organised for charity purpose by Persatuan Lakiput and Bisaya and the Organising Chairman was Mr. Esaw Mikir.
