Two of our juniors, the TAY brothers went all the way to Singapore to take part in the 2011 Singapore Junior Golf Championship held at Keppel Club from 1st to 3rd June, 2011.
There were about 73 junior boys taking part in this tournament and it is divided into two divisionns; Division A for boys aged 15 yrs to 17 yrs, and Division B for boys aged 12 yrs to 14yrs. There were 42 girls; also divided into two divisions; and overall, there were 115 participants.
Both Malcolm and Jordan made the cut (60%) to qualify for the 3rd day.
Malcolm got 2nd placing under Division A while Jordan got 7th placing for Division B boys.
