JCI MALAYSIA CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT 2012
MIRI – This is the 1st time that Kelab Golf Miri joint-host with JCI to organise a charity golf tournament. This has been scheduled to be held on 15th July, 2012.
In announcing the tournament, Cr. Dr. Philip Raja, Captain of Kelab Golf Miri said the Club is honored and it takes pride to play host for this charity event. It proves to me that while golf is a form of exercise as well as an enjoyable game, it can also be organized to help the needy. This is the reason why we are here today for this press conference. To do our part to assist our society.
It is our hope that golfers from all over the region of Sarawak, Sabah, Brunei or even Peninsular Malaysia will come and support this charity drive. The entry fee is RM70.00 per participant and this includes goodies of a t-shirt, cap and towel and a complimentary dinner which will be held during the prize presentation at Kelab Golf Miri. The funds generated will be donated to MRCS Dialysis Centre and the Sarawak Children Cancer Society.
Entries are open to all golfers with a valid handicap. The format of play is Strokeplay Nett over Gross Event. The closing date of entry is on 11th July, 2012, 12.00noon.
