A Fund Raising Golf was organised to help the needy whose longhouse was destroyed by fire on 4th December 2013, approximately 8 am, situated at Niah district (some 100 km from Miri). This has disrupted the livelihood and forced the longhouse residents of 395 people into shelters.
This life changing event has made the longhouse communities consisting of 41 families mainly farmers, loss of their home and belongings.
A total sum of RM22,000.00 was raised from organising this event. The two major sponsors were Halliburton and Schlumberger.
